All prices are for manuscripts in standard format: Times New Roman, font size twelve, double spaced, one inch margins.
Half of the agreed upon price is due before work can begin.
Proofreading
Choose this option if you want me to fix grammar, spelling, punctuation, and usage errors in your manuscript.
Rates
- Short Stories: $3 per page
- Novels: $3.50 per page
- Articles & Papers: $4 per page
- Nonfiction Books: $4 per page
Copyediting
Choose this option if you want more in-depth prose work, including proofreading and line-editing suggestions for style.
Rates
- Short Stories: $4 per page
- Novels: 4.50 per page
- Articles & Papers: $5 per page
- Nonfiction Books: $5 per page
Beta Reading
Choose this option if you want me to read your manuscript and have a discussion with you, via Skype or Google Hangouts, about its strengths and weaknesses. This option does not include any copyediting, line editing, or proofreading.

Manuscript Evaluation & Critique
Choose this option if you want me to read your manuscript and note its strengths and weaknesses in comments on the Word document. I will then summarize my thoughts in a letter for your convenience. This option does not include any copyediting, line editing, or proofreading.

Query Critique – $100/flat rate
Choose this if you want me to evaluate a pitch or query for strengths and weaknesses. This includes line editing, copyediting, and proofreading.
Content editing for websites: $50/hour
Choose this if you want me to proofread and copyedit pages on your website.
